REAL ESTATE PHOTOGRAPHY PREPARATION GUIDE
Residential photoshoots take up to 1 hour and 30 minutes. Service add-ons (Exp: floor plans, 3D Tour, Drone Images, etc.) will extend the length of photoshoots. We will be photographing both the inside and outside of your home, including all of the major rooms. We usually do not photograph garages and unfinished spaces unless it has unique features or is requested by the Realtor or the homeowner. We thank you for your cooperation ahead of time.
If there are any unique features of the home that are not obvious, please point them out to us so we know to pay close attention to those details and include them in our shot list.
Please keep pets outdoors, in another room, or out of sight.
Remove all vehicles from driveways and do not park directly in front of the house. If garbage containers are visible, please remove them so that the garbage containers are not seen in exterior images.
Remove all garden tools, including hoses and sprinklers - mow and rake the yard.
Sweep or blow off driveways, sidewalks, and patios.
Clear off countertops in the kitchen and bathroom areas.
Remove photos, notes, and papers from the refrigerator.
Turn ceiling fans and televisions off.
Put up all window shades in every room.
We will decide if we want lights on or off once we have arrived and seen the property.
Please de-clutter rooms that may be excessively furnished - they do not photograph well.
Make all beds and tidy bedrooms. Make sure all clothes are hung up or out of sight.
Place all indoor trashcans out of view in a closet or cupboard.
Lastly, please make sure everyone that is in the house is aware and staying clear of the photographer’s camera when he or she is working.
